SG Automation Ltd is an independent Electrical Control, Safety and Information Systems Company supporting the UK, based in the North East of England.
Technologies within the field of Electrical and Control Engineering can change rapidly. Our aim is to deliver reliable, bespoke solutions that provide not only safe equipment control but also enhance process information for the end user.
With over 60 years joint experience within the Steel Industry in Electrical, Automation & Control, our staff are Chartered Electrical Engineers (CEng) with the IET, experienced in the fields of LV Design, PLC and SCADA system development, Servo and Robotic Control, Project Implementation, Commissioning and Project Management.
An expert service is available to design, code and implement a broad range of fully-integrated electrical and process control projects, applicable to many modern industries. Capabilities include control system solutions, emissions monitoring, batch and sequencing control, control-room rationalisation, robotics, energy efficiency audits and improvements, data management, forecasting, legacy systems upgrades and safety systems.
Our capability extends the Project Management theme through delivery of multi-discipline projects utilising experience and working relationships with local and national companies.
