Our history

Three top engineers from aerospace and Formula 1 and an experienced manager are the founders of KTW Technology.

The young history of KTW began at a birthday party in the summer of 2015, where one of the engineers met the manager. In an interesting discussion, they shared their perspectives on business, innovation and how everyone can influence the future. More discussions started and the team grew with each round of discussion. In the summer of 2017 , the group decided they were a perfect team to challenge the “existing” with their market-proven innovations and founded KTW Technology.

In October 2017 , the company OBRAC-Systems was taken over and integrated into the business.The acquisition of OBRAC-Systems was an important step in the forward strategy. OBRAC-Systems has developed titanium components and titanium composites reinforced with ceramic fibers, which are used in racing, but also in aerospace and medical technology. Other services were: vacuum and coating technology, microanalysis, laser welding in a vacuum, engine testing. Thanks to the company's extensive technical equipment, KTW was now fully operational and prepared for the start of production.
