Log Storage Table

The log storage is a steel structure where the logs for extrusion are stocked.

There are different types of systems:

• Inclined table – where the logs are fed into the log pusher table by gravity.
• with motorized Chains – the logs are moved through a chain system
• multi levels structure with an elevator – it is possible to stock different logs on each level and it is useful for the overnight shift.
• Log magazine of big capacity, up to 300 logs, where the logs are then taken by a manipulator and charge on the log table to feed them into the log furnace.

All the systems are foreseen with an alarm device on the control panel to alert when the log storage table is empty.
