Proportional Dosing Butterfly flaps (valves) are products used in industrial applications to cut material flow, to make or start proportional dosing by changing the angle of the flap. It is usually located under the silos, before the augers. For this reason, they are also known as silo outlet valve or silo mouth valve. The inside is gasketed to ensure impermeability. In applications where food compatibility is desired, butterfly valves with disc parts made of stainless steel and food-compatible materials are preferred.

It has single flanged or double flanged options. They are manufactured with a neck for connecting discharge chute, compensator, hose, bag or sacks to one side of single flanged inlets.
