Pinch Valve

The introduction of compressed air/liquid (minimum pressure difference 2 bar) into the casing of the pneumatic pinch valve compresses the specially produced sleeve with high backlash elasticity. The body design ensures that the sleeve can close freely to form a lip shape. This ensures that the product flow is completely sealed and at the same time guarantees the longest service life of the sleeve. This closes the pneumatic pinch valve and completely shuts off the flow of the product.

The maximum working pressure depends on the nominal diameter and is around 2-6 bar. As soon as the compressed air/liquid supply is interrupted and the air operated Pinch Valve housing is vented or emptied, the specially manufactured sleeve opens with backlash resilience, allowing ambient pressure to flow through a full passage.

Flattened and elliptical body design in all flanged types ensures minimum compressed air consumption. This saves energy and provides a distinctive lip fold pattern in the sleeve of the air pinch valve. This special lip fold pattern ensures complete sealing of the product flow. Even large solids in air operated Pinch Valves are closed by the sleeve and thus tightly closed.
