BZ marker NG

BZ marker NG

The BZ markers are tools for the permanent marking of workpieces.

How it works : The marking tools are housed in a Weldon tool holder (for cylindrical shanks with a side driving surface). The BZ marker size S is for 12 mm Weldon shots and the BZ markers in the sizes M, L and XL are suitable for 20 mm Weldon shots. Alternatively, the BZ markers can be used in fixtures with matching collets. The operation of the BZ markers requires no cooling lubricant and no compressed air. The marking is produced by a combination of material compression and material displacement. The special needle creates the mark as by curling.

The marking tools:

The BZ markers are equipped with a marking needle, which is tensioned with a spring in the tool. The marking needles of the BZ markers are made of a special steel and finished. Various types of needles are available with a rounded cone at the tip. In principle, the smaller the radius of the sphere, the higher the pressure on the surface (with the same scale setting). That is, the harder the workpiece surface to be marked, the smaller the radius of the sphere should be. The line width is smaller for a small sphere radius.

Thanks to very high-quality storage and a special construction, it is possible with the BZ markers to mark rough and smooth surfaces with unevenness between 3 and 7 mm evenly and with high quality, without the need for height compensation by the spindle. Even when marking steel surfaces with a hardness of 45 HRC (1,420 N / mm², 440HV, 418 HB30), the special needle has a much longer service life than a marking cutter.
