The number of resharpenable knives arranged on the circumference of the milling head depends on the feed and the desired wood chip length. For pulp wood chips it is between two and four pieces. For the production of fine chips, the number can be increased depending on the tool diameter. The number of discs can be varied to adapt to the cutting height.
