Fiber Optic Lighting – High Quality Fiber Optic Light Sources for Industrial Applications

The NEWEST standard stocked fiber optic lighting offering from FTI is a family of high power (50W and 100W) White LED Light sources, featuring an optical coupler which collects, transmits and transfers more than twice the visible light of a quartz halogen EKE lamp.

Three models are available. The newest model is LO-35, a non medical version of our popular LO-50. This unit has all the features and power of LO-50. In addition, it can be controlled remotely via a DB25 connector, accepts all current OEM light guides, offers a universal supply, but costs less.

Our first 5mm medical unit (LO-50) has been recognized by the FDA via 510K, ETL and CE guidelines for ENT medical applications. The LO-50 model offers two configurations; a 4 port turret for the most popular medical light guide designs, and a single port configuration. In this model, the optical coupler can be optimized for light guide sizes up to 12mm; the larger area coupler increases total power output, which can exceed 3x the power of a Quartz Halogen illuminator when measured at the end of the same light guide.
