Centrifugal Castings

As part of our comprehensive range of casting capabilities, Ferralloy, Inc., offers centrifugal casting for parts cylindrical in shape.

Our centrifugal casting line enables us to provide components with exceptional mechanical properties, measuring from 3.0” to 48.0” in diameter x 144.0” in length with wall thickness in the 3/16” to 2.0” range.

Centrifugal casting is an excellent method for producing thin-walled cylinders, and we can use one die to produce items of the same size but with different wall thicknesses. We work with a diverse range of metals and metal alloys, including exotics and high-strength, high-temperature materials. Precise control of metallurgy and grain structure produces sound castings with smooth surfaces and an excellent combination of strength and toughness.
