Highest Filtering. Best Performance. At -22 dB, CTM Magnetics HighSine high frequency sine wave filters have the highest filtering capabilities of any market standard sine wave filter. The higher filtering leads to better performance which in turn leads to a lower motor drive investment.

These higher speeds lead to high frequency harmonic distortion at the output of the drive. Our competitors’ filters overheat under this additional stress, forcing them to derate their filters. Furthermore, competitors often demand higher drive switching frequencies (to decrease THID), which then requires a drive derating.

Due to a unique patented design and proprietary materials, CTM’s HighSine sine wave filters are specifically designed for optimal performance with high frequency induction and permanent magnet motors. HighSine filters provide industry leading filtering while allowing for minimal VFD derating. The HighSine series offers standard filters optimized for use at 240 Hz, 333 Hz, 350 Hz, and 500 Hz @ 4 kHz, 5kHz, 5 kHz, and 5 kHz respectively.
