Introduction

The Rogowski sensor is a measuring device for alternating currents.

Unlike current sensors with a ferromagnetic core, the linearity of the Rogowski sensor makes it particularly suitable for measuring large currents.

CRC sensors do not require an external integrator because the measurement processing is entirely managed by the measuring device. They can be connected to the EMS-96 and EMA-90N network analyzers.

The range of CRC flexible sensors is designed specifically for existing installations limited by stringent integration constraints or high-intensity currents. The absence of a ferromagnetic core makes the Rogowski sensor linear even in the presence of large currents.

Assembly

Precautions:

• The conductor must not be near the opening / closing mechanism to avoid compromising the accuracy of the measurement.

• The coil must not tighten the conductor so as not to compromise the accuracy of the measurement.

• Respect the coil-phase correspondence.

Installation

• Connect the CRC sensors to the measuring device

• To open the coil, act on the pressure points of the opening / closing mechanism.

• Place the coil around the conductor checking that the arrow of the opening / closing mechanism corresponds to the direction of the current.

• Close the coil.
