The ABP ITCC-5C-160 Integrated 1 Transceiver HF Communication Case System (ITCC) is a complete portable, rapid deployment HF-On-The-Move, TOC-in-a-Box, DCP communication case equipped with 125 Watts HF amplification. The amplified power/voice/data system is small, watertight transportable system with removable lids that supports one AN/PRC-160 transceiver.
The transceiver is securely mounted on a Jerk-And-Run mount inside the case. HF Antenna Coupler case with 250 foot long RF and control cables is provided.
The ABP ITCC-5C-160 operates from almost any AC power source worldwide (85-270 VAC / 47-440 Hz including AC generator, local power grid and aircraft power) or 9-36V DC power source to include HMMWV, 24V/28V military and 12V commercial /civilian vehicles, boat and aircraft. The ITCC provides uninterruptible power to the transceiver while charging the internal battery that automatically powers the transceiver during external AC or DC power failure.
The provided Dual Handsets High Efficiency Amplified Speaker with KDU mount is used for local or remote operation of the transceiver up to 1,000 feet. Standard military handset/headset, H-250/U or similar type (G.F.E.) can be connected to the Amplified Speaker. A special Automatic Level Control (ALC) circuit at the audio input insures constant audio level at the speaker regardless to the level of the received audio from the transceiver/encryption unit. 5 Watts of clear, crisp audio overcomes noisy environment and provides the user with consistent audio clarity.
Optional 115VAC/60Hz uninterruptible power is available for laptop computer.
