The surfaces are heat-treated and hardened for anti-corrosive protection. AVIT stainless steel swivel joints (1.4571) of the high pressure line are heat-treated to increase solidity. They are designed for slow rotating movements nmax = 20-30 rpm-1 with a permissible operating temperature range of 0°C to +80°C. It is advisable to pay attention to the pressure reductions due to high temperatures. Sealings It is important to know the operating conditions of the swivel joint in order to choose the optimal sealing technology for failure-free operation. Service The ball bearing is provided with an anti-ageing grease. This enables maintenance-free use for approximately three to five years.
